Founded in 1924 by Jean Joseph Sibilly as a grocery store and bar serving the Northside community, Sib’s On The Mountain has grown into the oldest bar and restaurant on St. Thomas, now run by his descendants who continue its legacy of food, drink, and community gathering.

what is your favorite dessert?
It was a good restaurant, with amazing food and good service. We did wait about an hour for food, but the place was very busy, so you can’t put that against them. They also had someone playing the steel drum, and they were really good.
After climbing up an almost vertical mountain road with windy switchbacks, we somehow landed at Sib's. Let me tell you this... don't leave without trying Sib's Ribs. Those were sweet and tangy. Paired really well with some salt and peppery fries. Doesn't feel like a tourist trap at all. 10/10 will be back if I can figure out how we got here.
Established in 1924, Sib’s on the Mountain is the oldest restaurant and bar on St. Thomas. It’s one of the most convenient restaurants to go to on the Northside, and has plenty of parking spaces in the lot below. The entertainment at night is great, they have local singers performing on the weekends. The chicken tenders and spinach artichoke dip are great appetizers. Full service bar has a lot of great drinks, this is a really fun place!
